Especially as the weather was awful the main day i was there, the comfort and location really helped offset the elements. All in all, a very relaxing stay thanks in great part to the Radisson. So kind of in-between places in a way, especially if staying on a Saturday night as lots of SLC is closed on Sundays.

Not really many negatives other than, while a decent location, not much open right nearby at night (gas station about 3 blocks away is it). The positives were: Comfortable beds, neat almost boutique decor, late checkout per Radisson policy (if room not needed the checkout day), right on Trax (lightrail) line to/from airport and to/from/connecting to just about everything else, free bottled water in room, and very friendly/helpful front-desk staff. I contemplated a 4-star vs this 3.5-star and boy am I glad I stayed here. Just completed my first-ever visit to SLC and the Radisson Downtown was my choice via Hotwire.
